The second Dallas Pin & Patch Show has officially been announced and will be even bigger than the North Texas event’s first run.
Last December Nick Quintero & Dana Johnson of Fresherthan.com organized and promoted the first all pin & patch showcase in Dallas, TX. The merch focused event took place at Strangeways on Fitzhugh Ave. and featured 16 artists and makers who brought their love of pop-culture, art and creativity to the people of Dallas. Over 300 shoppers entered the family-owned bar throughout the day to purchase their share of pins, patches, stickers and other art pieces.
This year’s event will be taking place at the larger capacity venue, Deep Ellum Art Co. in hopes of drawing more space for vendors and to increase the space for foot traffic. We have already confirmed several vendors and more than 30 have been contacted and are working on confirmations. DEAC also provides a stage for a DJ, as well as space for a food truck (currently in the works). Key details of the event are as follows:
Event: The Dallas Pin & Patch Show 2
Venue: Deep Ellum Art Co
Date & Time: Saturday Sept 8, 2018 11am-4pm
DJ: Tyrone Smiley
Food Truck: TBD
Venue Details: All Ages, 500 Capacity, No Cover

Fresherthan and it’s vendor’s will be promoting the event for the next several weeks leading up to the show date with print materials, social media posts, and Facebook & Instagram ads.

Fresherthan is looking forward to finding vendors and sponsors who are interested in taking part in the event in any capacity. We’re excited to be putting together a showcase that supports shopping local & to help small businesses and independent artists in Dallas. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or opportunities!
