2 weeks ago, I get a call from my booking agent out of Squarejaw City, and he tells me that he has one hell of a show for me. I tell him to let me hear it, and he tells me that I will get to play a show with none other that Maseo, the DJ from De La Soul. How could I say no?
So this Sunday, June 27th catch me a the Green Elephant with DJs Love and Nemeses. There will also be some kind of emcee battle going on, that I hear the homey Marty B. of the Dallas Cowboys will be judging. By the looks of it me and Marty might have a Sneaker battle.
This is an 18 and up event, so all you youngsters can come out and get learned to some good music.
The cost is 10 bucks bfore 10:30 and 15 bucks after. Not a bad price, for a night of dope DJs.

With the end of the year approaching, and everyone and their mom posting up “best of the year” list I decided just to compose a list of things that kicked ass in 09, and things that got ass kicked in 09.
Things That Kicked Ass
1. Dying Kicked ass all over the place in 09 - Lets be honest this was the year to die, and I’m surprised that more people didn’t try to die in 09 because it was the thing to do. Really, dying was such a thing in you really had to bring something to the table to be a noteworthy death. for example, poor old Farrah Fawcett never got to shine because MJ’s death came in and kicked all kinds of ass.
Deaths that meant something to me in 09
2. Boobs (but don’t they kick ass every year?) Top Boobs of 09 (in no particular order) Eva Amurri – This gal made me love Californication even more than I already did, and holy shit she is Susan Sarandon’s daughter.
Jessica Biel – boy did the heavens open up the day she decided to show them thangs

3. Zombies – Need I say more?
The Dallas Cowboys – Say what you want but they have a winning record and I am a Homer so FUCK YOU.
4. Twitter – 140 characters of kick ass man this social network took hold like gangbusters in 09. From local and national beef to people getting to show off the comedic prowess, Twitter was a place to make a name for yourself in 09
