I’ve been told they are trying to go for a younger audience and kill off the old franchise. Seeing that Sam Raimi’s were more about the human aspect of Peter’s struggles and less about the action. This one is more along the lines of the altered comic of Spider-man Unlimited. So a lot of things are new and updated. As opposed to Stan’s Spidey. I don’t look forward to it, just cause it’s not what I grew up with. But then, I lived through the live action Scooby-Doo Movies.
