As this video from last night’s BET Awards circulates the internet people keep quoting the word cypher. I would prefer to quote the word “freestyle” as Black Thought’s verse seems a little preconceived. Regardless, this video is really dope and it’s great to see some real emcees get some shine on these award shows. Despite questionable authenticity of the freestyles, enjoy the feeling this video can bring back to you. [fresh]
