German based technology company, Metaio, has been playing with the concept of augmented reality. Now they have brought this technology to it’s full potential by using it on Lego boxes! Using a web cam, you can project the Lego, fully completed in live 3D animated scenes, onto the outside of the box. No more smashing the three pieces you were actually able to assemble against the wall! Now all we need is a life size Leia Lego that can project out of R2. More pics after the jump.
